As you might imagine, it takes a lot of effort to maintain this project (which just keeps growing). Although I love it, it leaves little time for keeping up on the documentation.
Based on recent discussions, Sapwood is headed in the right direction, and a similar direction to what I had originally intended. But it has a long way to go.
In any case, the docs are not well-organized, and they are missing a great many cool features that Sapwood has to offer.
However, v1.6 is being fast-tracked. It is now scheduled for late May / early June, and it will be the third overhaul of the user interface, and I think this one might just stick.
Because v1.6 is being fast-tracked, and because it offers a significant change to Sapwood, I plan to spend the time between v1.6 and v1.7 (June 2015) working on an overhaul of the documentation. By the time v1.8 arrives, the docs will be better organized, and hopefully a much better reference for you.
Hold tight until then and feel free to ask questions.
Thank you for using Sapwood!
